I like Ani, but it seems like more of a nickname. I love Ana.

I know an Onye, just like Ani, short for Andrea.
I also know an Ana.
I like both of them. Not together of course.

Ani is a great name. I've liked it ever since there was a girl on my soccer team named it when I was six. Ana is wonderful too and I like it better than my name.

I just realizedthe real reason I like Ani so much is because its what my niece calls me (she's 20 months old). I think she got it from my parents calling me Auntie Annie to her. In anycase I like it because it's *sort of* my name.

I love Ana (it's my grandmother's name, and I plan to name my second daughter after her, but I'll use Anika because Ana was mega popular when I was born in 1970s and 80s and I prefer a less popular names).
Ani is nice, but seems like a nn to me.

I like Ana, Ania, and Aine, but Ani just looks like a nickname to me. Ani DiFranco has pulled it off though!I don't know any girls or women with either name.
