I love Sophie. I personally only know one and she is my cousin. I don't think it is too popular to be nice. It is a classic. I love both Sophie and Sophia.

I live in England and the name Sophie is sooo popular, I know so many theres no way I could count them. Sorry! I still have it as one of my favourites even though it is really popular and I definitley prefer it over Sophia.

I don't know any adults named Sophie but between my two oldest boys kindergarden classes (about 25 in each class) there is one Sophie, two Sofia's, & one Sophia.

Sophie is cute and imo used less than Sophia/Sofia. I like it and I think it makes a wonderful mn. I prefer Sofia to Sophia tho.

I prefer Sophie to Sophia, and to me they are two distinct names even though a lot of people say every Sophia they know gets called Sophie!

I only know two Sophia's, a 5 year old and a 25 year old. They each only go by Sophia, never Sophie.

I think Sophie is much spunkier and sassy, while Sophia is along the same lines as Olivia and Amelia, classic and girly.
