Lavender & Claudia
These are my favorite girl names of the moment. My question is- Do you think these names would make good sister names? Or would it bother you that Lavender is much more quirky and Claudia more timeless? (I wouldn't want Lavender thinking, "How did I get stuck with the 'weird' name?" or Claudia thinking, "How come my sister got such an interesting name and I didn't?). At the same time, I think they share a lovely feminine quality. Plus, I think it might be tacky to pair Lavender with something else similarly hippy-ish (like Lavender and Magnolia). For what it's worth, my combos are:
Lavender Jane
&
Claudia Pearl
Feel free to critique and offer any comments! Thanks.

Honestly! I think any name can go in a sibset. But your right the difference in styles kind of set it off a bit. Even though they are pretty.
But they are ok.

I love Claudia, absolutely love it, and Pearl makes a fine middle name for it. But Lavender seems to me tacky, and not nice sounding. I think Lavender would wonder why her sister got a timeless, classic name and she got a tacky hippy one, but I don't think Claudia would have any resentment at all.
I think they make a wonderful sibset
Seriously, the instant that I saw the words "Lavender & Claudia", I thought to myself, "wow, what great sister names!" Both are very quirky AND timeless, in my opinion. They're both rather old-fashioned, but are so rarely used now that they've still got the quirk factor. And oh my god, Lavender Jane is my favorite girls' combo ever! I decided that it would be my first choice combo for a daughter, given that my future husband likes it, of course.

I like them with the middle names that you have. Very pretty.
