I actually really like the name Gloria. I guess it's kinda old fashioned and you don't hear it that often, but it's nice. I like older sounding names though!

I think it's a very pretty, rather old-fashioned, and due for a comeback! It has a nice meaning and a fairly old sound. I actually never met anyone with the name Gloria! *surprised* Wow! I think all the Glorias I know of or heard of have been on TV!
I also like Gloriana, but then I love most names with Ana in them!! :)

It's a name I want to like, and I like the style, but it makes me think of an older woman, actually a chain smoking waitress for some reason. :b So it's not very attractive to me, but I'm not sure why.

I think Gloria Bunker first & foremost and then Gloria Steinem. The first one makes me dislike the name, the second makes me like it.. so I guess I'm rather wishy-washy on Gloria.
I do love Gloriana though. I read a set of books as a kid that were about a red headed orphan named Gloriana somewhere in the southwest of America back in the late 19th (or early 20th) century and fell in love with Gloriana then. I also like Glory but I'd use it as a virtue name middle on a boy!

I actually know a little girl named Glorianna. When I first found out that was her name, I thought it was too frilly, but now I think it's cute.

Well, I'm 34... what can I say.
Yeah, I think the name is nice enough to use again; it's very attractive, and my impressions are probably out of date. For me personally, it has too much religious connotation to use for my own daughter.
