Pip is an excellent nn, even if I don't love Phillip. Phillip Oswald has a nice ring to it.
I don't care for either of those pronunciations of Berenice. Chichi would work as a nn if you are saying Berenice as be-re-NEE-che.
Eos does have appeal. Berenice Eos?
