I think it's beautiful :) Frustrates me though that there are two potential ways for people to pronounce it, as I worry that a kid with this name would be constantly correcting people.

Alana is pretty but feels rather empty to me--all style and no substance.

Aloha...trust me, you don't want to name your child this. My last name is Alora, and the kids called me _______Aloha all through grade school. Not a big deal, but man was it annoying.

I love Alana (combo is Alana Catherine). I don't care for Aloha, though. :/

It's pretty; I prefer the spelling Alanna. Aloha is a bit too obvious, I don't think it would work well.
