I prefer Honey as a middle name. As in Poppy Honey (ok maybe not with Poppy as a first name) or Mia Honey (Jamie Oliver's and Kate Winslet's daughters).
Honey is a sweet name but more of a nickname. It's what most guys call their girlfriends so it seems weird as a given name even though I kind of like it since I read "Gone with the Wind". Yeah it's a name I wouldn't like to have on my birth certificate at all. Mary Margaret is decent, though so I'm happy she'll have the option to go by Mary or Margaret. Definetely better than Honey Star or something like that. Still I think Honey should just be a nickname.
I mean if it was paired with Star we would all think the parents were crazy and stupid for giving their daughter a stripper name but when it's paired with Mary Margaret it's great!? Doesn't make sense to me. I mean sure she has other names to use in case she dislikes Honey but her parents are still going to call her Honey. I just don't think it's that great.
