I wouldn't use it, but its not bad. My friend's older brother's name is Ron. He's in his twenties, so I can see it on a younger person. Do I think it will ever become popular? No.

I love Ronald. Though my view of it is skewed as it's a family name that I would totally use as a fn. I think it needs a bit more time before it would make a come back because there's still lots of older Ronalds around. I do know one child Ronald and one young adult who's always called Ronny.

"Ronald McDonald," comes to mind immediately! So no, i don't think so. Also it sounds very nerdy, and dated.

I don't really like it. It only reminds me of Ronald McDonald. And it's too close to Donald, which I really dislike for some reason. I do like it better than Donald though. I don't like Ron either. It seems really dated. All the Rons I know are middle-aged.

Yes, I like the name and it also reminds me of Harry Potter.
