I think it is a Yupik name right? Maybe it is Inupiat....It could be a lot of different things. In order to make a genuine judgement on the name I would need more information. Is it for a male or a female, why do you like it, etc.

Is there something I'm missing here?I'm confused. Shouldn't we just, like, ignore the troll?

I don't know, Nuvvuagittuq is a name that I really want to like, and almost like, but don't quite like. The Nuvvuagitt part is beautiful, but it's the uq sound that kind of ruins it. And then, of course, it was so popular in the forties and fifties, that now it's seen as the quintessential middle-aged mom name. When I can separate it from its era, and try to put myself back in time and see it when it was fresh and new, I can really see its appeal. But I don't think that the fact that it's dated should keep you from using it if you really love it.

That was so convincing. I was completely confused lol.

Flows right off the tongue, doesn't it?

I disagree.I really love it. The dated quality about is what I love so much. I'm thinking that Nuvvuatittuq Jean would be so lovely. Plus once it comes back (which it will at some point) she'll always be thought to be younger. And in our society younger is better. So use it!
