Alila (ah-LEE-lah)- haven't heard this one before; not keen
Arela - OK; liable to be mistaken for Ariel
Ariel (ah-ree-ELL)- used to like; I prefer Ariella
Avia (AH-vee-ah) - not keen
Aviva - I adore this beauty!!
Dana - quite like, but prefer Dina or Dinah
Eila (AY-luh) - not keen
Elisheva - I love this; Shevi or Shevy makes a cool nn
Gavriela - gorgeous
Gayora (gay-OR-ah)- nice; I like Galya
Kadia (KAH-dee-ah) - nms
Katania (kah-TAN-ee-uh) -nms; I once liked Katriel
Kinneret - OK
Layil (lyle); OK
Leili (LAY-lee);OK - I prefer Leila, which I think as a Hebrew nameis usually ptn. Lyla)
Lilit (lih-LEET)- too much like naughty Lilith
Meital - Maytal is my preferred transliteration (avoids "metal" look)
Michal - lovely; deserves more attention but that ch (kh) sound is a killer!
Nadya - nice
Naomi - lovely
Natanya - nice
Nili (NEE-lee)- nms
Nirel (nee-RELL)-nms
Oriel - nms; Orli is cute
Peri - never heard of it; don't like
Raina - I like this if it's for Malka (queen) as it was used among the Sephardim in the Middle Ages, but I think it can also be Yiddish (a form of Katherine, "pure")
Ravital - like but like several of these names it is unfamiliar outside Israel

Sarai - I prefer Sarah (especially Sara)

Tziporah - nice; reminds me of Tzipi Livni
Tzofia - nms; prefer Sophia
Yael - love; have a friend by this name

Ziva - I rather like this name of a friend
