Pecolia
My aide in middle school had a daughter with this name. She was named after her grandmother. What do you think of it?
By the way, this is my 500th comment ;).

Reminds me of "peculiar" and soda.
I don't like the "Peco" sound very much. Does she have an African American background, by any chance?. I'd never heard of Pecolia, but Pecola is mainly used by African Americans (eg: the protagonist of Toni Morrison's first novel "The Bluest Eye").
She is African-American.
I'm usually a sucker for girls' names that have four syllables and end in IA, so I really want to like it, especially since it's unusual and I've never heard it before. However, I'm finding the first syllable really unattractive.
