I love the historic, Anglo-Saxon-ness of Edith. And since the Victorians had their medieval-revival trend it also makes me think of Victorian times. The nn Edie is so cute and an added bonus.
Siblings I could envision:
Margaret, Audrey, Frances, Matilda, Rosamund, Winifred, Constance, Philippa (Pippa?), Adelaide / Alice, Cecily, Joan, Helen, Louisa, Augusta (Aggie?), Beatrice, Agatha, Cornelia, Benedicta, Horatia, Prudence, Anselma / Selma, Imelda, Fidelma, Muriel, Irene, Jessamine, Eglantine, Hazel, Blythe, Miriam, Hannah, Bridget (Bridie), Gwendolen -- John, Walter, Geoffrey, Piers, Bertram (Bertie?), Wilfred, Alfred, Lionel, Cedric, Henry, Cecil, George, Aubrey, Bernard, Cuthbert, Jasper, Gervase, Eustace, Simon, Peregrine (Perry?), Thomas, Anselm / Ansel, Roland, Francis, Wolfram, Swithin, Nigel, Norman, Percival (Percy?), Bartholomew, Cyprian, Ives / Ivo, Kendrick, Clement, Rupert, Oswald, Alban, Stephen, Gerald / Gerard, Charles, Owen, Sidney.
