Nanette
Maybe when i can talk my partner into the name our babygirl will be named Nanette. What do you think about the name? To much of an NN? And what name would you chose as FN or MN/How would you name possible future siblings?

I don't like it that much. It sounds like a name for an old lady or a goat.

Nanette is what my friend calls her grandmother, because she said Nana made her feel old. So that's what I think about. It's cute but the sound is a little weird. I think Nan would be a cute nn for it. Nanette Lorraine just popped into my head.

I think Nanette is a very pretty name, and hasn't neen used often enough to be stuck in a particular time period.
When I hear it I think of British actress Nanette Newman, who when young was a stunningly attractive brunette actress and film star - her films from the '60s still come on televison from time to time.
I think it goes with so many names, such as
Nanette Adele
Nanette Catherine
Nanette Delphine
Nanette Genevieve
Nanette Giselle
Nanette Helena
Nanette Joy
Nanette Livia
Nanette Rosalind
- the list is endless!

I don't care for it, though I like Annette all right. Actually, Annette is the only -ette name I can think of that I like.
