I think it's strong and beautiful and wholesome. It's absolutely wnoderful. And I kind of have the same dilemma as you - I fell in love with Mayim, but I don't have any Hebrew or Jewish relation either. It's going into my top combos anyway, though, as a first name. I don't think it matters that much! If you love it, you love it.
