Sounds like the toilet paper.
I like it but people will forever say "Sharmian" because they will think of the song "Charmaine". We read Anthony and Cleopatra at school - this is Cleopatra's maid's name and I remember we all thought it was pronounced Sharmian.
It would be "different" but she'd always be correcting people.

This will date me, but growing up there was a series of commercials for Charmin ("SHAR-min") paper towels. Mr. Whipple, the store manager berated customers not to squeeze the Charmin. But of course they would find him doing it in secret and have the last line, "Don't squeeze the Charmin!"
Sorry. I know you are pronouncing Charmian differently, with three syllables and a hard "k" sound at the beginning. I just can't get Mr. Whipple out of my head. Those darn advertizers know what they're doing.
