YuckI definitely prefer Blair to Leighton on a girl.

Leighton is the pattern of my grandmother's china that she left to me. It's made by Aynsley and Sons, Ltd. So I can't think of it on a person, sorry.

Leighton is very masculine to me and trendy masculine at that, I'm definitely not a fan. I love Blair on a girl, though.

I agree with you about Blair.Leighton reminds me of Leighton Buzzard which is a nearby town. It wouldn't strike me as having great name potential, to be honest.S xx

I don't mind Blair or Leighton... though the only 'Leighton' I've ever know IRL is a man.

I dislike it on a girl. I always feel sorry for Leighton Meester whenever I see her in a magazine as she's pretty but is stuck with Leighton (though she probably doesn't care about her name), I feel the same about Blake Lively. It's even worse because her character is Blair so nothing feminine there, at least Blake has Serena(?). I'd have gone by Marissa or Claire from a very early age because I would not be able to stand having to be Leighton every day. I would feel very ugly and unfeminine. The same goes for Blair. Maybe I'm just weird.

I think Leighton sounds cold and preppy, especially on a girl. I always wondered why the girls on that show have boys' names (Leighton, Blake).Blair only works on a boy, but even then I'm not crazy about it. Man, that show just has bad names all around!

I think Leighton is better on a boy.
