I know a Julian with a Spanish surname, so a Spanish mn fits perfectly.
I like Julian - it's a classic.
Ther's a northern English version, Jolyon, that was used by John Goldsworthy in "The Forsyte Saga" - it seems to have had a slight vogue in England during the 1960s.
