Chenoa?
My school's social worker, who I'm very close to, is named Chenoa. I fell in love with the name Chenoa when I first saw it. What do you think of it?Last year she gave birth to a daughter named Maia. Do you like that name too?

Chenoa is the name of a town in my state not far from where I went to college. I don't particularly care for it. This has an interesting bit about the name:

I really like the name Chenoa; it's both soft and strong. To the best of my knowledge, it means "dove" in some language or other, but I don't remember where I learned that.I like the name Maia, as well, but I like it spelled Maya better.

Chenoa is very beautiful. I've never met anyone with this name so perhaps you could confirm how it is supposed to be pronounced. I think it's, "sheh-NO-uh." Am I correct? Thanks.I love Maia. I prefer it to Maya. My pseudonym on another site is "Ingrid Maia."
