I think it is usuable. I would love to meet a little Julius. A lady on another website I'm on has a son named Julius, hes about a year old.

I think it's absolutely wonderful. It would be on my list to consider for future children if I thought it went well with my last name. But unfortunately it doesn't. I think it sounds great (I like most Julius related names also) and the fact that it has some history to it is just icing on the cake.

Julius is my # 4 name for another boy. I say it's completely usable. :) Makes me think of Groucho Marx. My Hero.

I can imagine it and I'd definitely use it. I love Julius - love it. Makes me think of a bright and brilliant genius (excuse the redundancy)!

I went to high school with a guy named Julius, so I think it's a very usable name. I can definitely see it on a young person. I love it, too. I like how you described it: "handsome and dignified".

Really? It charts in America pretty consistently, and it looks like it's about to break 300. I know plenty of people who know Juliuses (Julii?) and can picture one of any age quite easily. What's more I can picture it corresponding with many people I know, though admittedly it works best with the tall/dark/handsome ones.

I think Julius is plenty usable this day and age! I like the potential nn Jules. I've known several guys named Julius, mostly when I was in Miami.

I like the name Julian more than Julius though. It keeps about the same sound, it has the same meaning, but it's more modern and more common (not common as in popular, but more common than Julius you know).

I think it's perfectly useable. If my LN didn't start with an S I would love it even more. I love the NN Jules.
