Re: Sandor

Love Sandor.
I've always been drawn to Sander van Ochre's (sp?) name. He's a TV journalist; I'm not sure if he's even still working.
Anyway, I always liked Sander as a variant to Alexander. But at the back of my mind I had a vision of a man sanding a piece of wood. Then I discovered the Hungarian variant Sandor. Problem solved. :-)
I've been getting hooked more and more on Hungarian / Eastern European names lately. My next obsession . . . ?
