Re: Did those combos for twins sound snob?

Elfreda reminds me of Alfred too much. I prefer Elfrida, though it's not considered posh in my parts at all. Emmaline is nice and fits the purpose, but sounds like "looking for something that's Emily but isn't". On second thought, maybe that makes it more snob!
Maximilienne is over the top for me (too long, to french - plus: Max or Maxi as a girl's nn is not snob at all). How about Carolina (caro-LEE-na) Isabella Leonor or Emmaline Francoise Antoinette (or Serafine) if you prefer french for the girl?
Leopold Friedrich is great! Lancelot doesn't fit at all imho, it reminds me of Knights, but doesn't go with the other names. Why not stick with the German-ish names and go for Wilhem (or Immanuel, Kaspar, Kilian, Maximilian, Meinard, Sigismund or Wolfram)?
German-ish posh girls' names could be Alexis, Amalia, Antonia, Beatrix, Eleonora, Katharina, Elisabeth, Patricia (pa-TREE-tsee-ah), Sophie (so-FEE), Viktoria.
