I too didn't really think about Edward until I read Twilight (2 days to go!!! ^^), but I think that the name itself is beautiful. Very strong and handsome... I think you could definately name your child Lucien Edward or even Edward as first name. It sounds great and as already mentioned by somebody, it won't always be associated with Twilight (other than Harry, which I wouldn't call my kid in near or even further future).
