Light and Bubbly
So I'm thinking my standard girls names feel too serious. I usually keep the likes of Charlotte, Anna, Elisabeth, Caroline, Eleanor, and Josephine handy as favorites, but my absolute top combo at the moment is a much fluffier feeling Amelia Joy. I don't really want frilly (I'm thinking of Isabella or Gabriella), but just softer, less stuffy, less typical type names.
Any old lists would be appreciated. :)

Clara
Elinor (For some reason I find this spelling to be lighter than Eleanor. And the nn Noor makes me swoon.)
Lina
Hope
Leah
Dinah
Oona
Solveig (Looks heavy, but it's so singable. If that makes sense.)
Eloise
Cecily (Wonder why I think this fits? :P)
Gemma
Tallulah
Shoshana
Violet
Rosalie
Not sure if any of those fit your requirements, really. Any you like?

Ya know, I never really think about Cecily other than your DD, but when I isolate it as just a name, I do think I quite like it. Amelia and Cecily sound darling, don't they?! Thanksomuch for sharing it as a contribution to the list! :)

I just want to say that your screen name is fabulous. Please don't ever change it. :-)
They seek him here. They seek him there. Those Frenchies seek him everywhere . . . .

I don't worry, I certainly don't intend to change it :D
So, I take it you like The Scarlet Pimpernel?

Me, too! Me, too! I am a Terrence Mann fangirl, actually. But I love musicals in general, and SP is well placed on my faves list. :)
I'll try to list light, airy girl names. But if they veer into fluffy-dom I'm not resposible. :-)
Leonie ("LEE-uh-nee" or "LAY-uh-nee") / Leontine, Sylvia / Sylvie,
Isla, Elspeth / Elsa, Aisling, Alicia, Eliane, Helena ("HEL-en-uh"), Callista, Lydia, Cordelia, Verity, Jessamine, Celeste, Adele, Eleanora, Josepha, Carolina, Carlotta, Annabel, Leandra, Jamila.

Jamila
My daughter would have liked to be called Jamila, when she discovered that both her paternal great-grandmothers had been named that.(I guess it was the Charlotte or Ava of that time and place.)
My husband, though, pronounces it Gamila, which I don't like. Not that I knew about the same-named grandmothers at the time.

While I don't think any of those names individually are that serious, I can see what you mean when they're all listed together against Amelia Joy. When you said light and bubbly, Lily came to mind first. Here are some other "softer" ones:
Lucy
June
Dahlia
Delia - are Dahlia and Delia frilly?
Wren
Susannah?
Adelle?
Adeline!
Lyra
Lisette
Nina
Iris
Rosalie
Galia
Adelaide
Corinne
Bridget / Brigitte / Brigitta, etc.
Sonia
Christina
Madeline
I'll leave it at that. :-) Like any?
