I love all of them, but I am not fond of Maisie as a nn. I don't think Amelie and Eva would have huge pronunciation issues. I think the only one with potential to rise is Eva (because of the popularity of Ava), I think Amelie has probably gotten enough exposure because of the movie so it should have hit a peak by now.

I like them all, especially Louisa and Eva.

Re: pronunciation issues, I think Amelie would be confused for Emily a lot. Eva would most likely be called EE-va in an English-speaking culture.

I can see Eva's popularity rising due to the overwhelming popularity of Ava. Ditto for Eve (sob!).

I love Amelie and Eva (only this pronunciatioan and I'm so glad someone else likes it). I don't see how anyone can misspronounce Amelie (is there another way to pr. it?) but there might me a problem with Eva.

Margaret and Louisa are nice, but a bit boring and dated ot me.

Amelie is nice. Not my style, but nice.
Margaret is a classic name with a lot of nicknames, but Maisie isn't my favorite; I much prefer Maggie.
Louisa isn't very pretty.
Eva is lovely.

No, I don't think Amelie and Eva would have pronunciation issues. Eva might be called "Ava" from time to time, but that's not a big deal.

I see Amelie rising in popularity because it was rumored Angelina Jolie was going to name one of her twins that. She didn't, but I think it will rise anyway. I also see Eva getting more popular.

I like Eva I think some people might say it as ee-vah though.

Amelie - I like it, but I prefer Amelia by far. Amelie is hard for me to say, it just doesn't come naturally. If I lived in France where it sounds pretty I'd like it more than Amelia but it sounds weird with an American accent. I like Emily a lot too though, even though it's popular.

Margaret "Maisie" - I think Margaret is a pretty classic but it isn't on the top of my list. Maisie is a cute nickname, but sounds so babyish to me. I prefer Margaret "Meg" or Margaret "Maggie".

Louisa - Louisa is my number two name, right after Anna. I absolutely LOVE IT! I love it in full, and I also like the nns Lulu, Lou and Weezie.

Eva - I think Eva is pretty and I prefer it to Eve and definitely to Ava which I dislike. I don't think Louisa and Eva are too much alike to use.

I have the hardest time pronouncing Amelie.
I like Louisa.
Eva is the only one that seems to be rising in popularity.

I think in America there would be pronunciation issues with Eva simply because of the Eva Longoria association and because English words with the same beginning do not sound the way you wish it pronounced (ie Eve, Evening, Even). I think Eva will rise in popularity definately. I keep seeing people with Evangeline on their name lists.
I also like the nn Maisie for Margaret and I love the name Louisa.

I like Louisa and Eva a little bit.

I wouldn't think anyone would have a problem pronouncing Eva at all, but they *may* have a bit of trouble with Amelie. As for popularity, I have no idea.
