Evander Holyfield springs to mind. I guess you can decide whether that's good or bad (though I think we'd all agree its better than Mike Tyson).

I think it might sound and look a little weird in today's world, but I love it. It's one of my favorites. There are possible "normal" nicknames that can come of it, like Evan and Andy. I think the only problem is how little it's used, but that's never stopped anyone on this site.

I don't really see any possible teasing names or anything. I'm not a big fan of the name, though I don't hate it either. Evan makes a great nn for it.

I love Evander. I have a character named Evander. It's a good name.

I love the way Evander sounds. Aside from the Evander Holyfield association, I can't think of any possible teasings. Since the Holyfield incident happened in the 1990s, I don't think that many kids around a little Evander would even know about it.
