I have never been a fan of Christopher, theres nothing wrong with its just not for me. I much prefer Christian. I think its a soft kind of name, I have known a few Christophers in my life (kids and adults) the kids go by Christopher and the adults go by Chris. I don't really like the name Chris for a girl or a boy, my mother-in-law's name is Christine and goes by Chris and if I had a girl (another one) one day I'd hope I could use the name Chrysanthe and nickname her Santhe (san-thee) that and Christian for a boy are about the only Chrys/Chris names I like.
