WDYTO Kara?
Do you like this name? My opinion is that it's pretty but seems insubstantial. Do you prefer it spelled Kara or Cara?

I don't mind it. I prefer the spelling Kara. :)
I like the name, but only if it is spelled with a "C".
I really like it because it's tied to one of my favorite games EVER - I played it when I was six or seven and the names have stuck with me ever since. I prefer the Kara spelling because that's how one of the characters spelled it, though Cara is also nice and a little less trendy-looking.
My sister has a friend named Kara - she's the only Kara I've ever met IRL.

I love Cara, I think it's classic and timeless. The K makes it look tacky though.

I know a lot of women in their 20s with this name, normally spelt Cara. I don't think it's insubstantial, though the K makes it look slightly more trendy.
I've only ever heard it said KAHR-a which personally I don't think is that pretty but it's fine for someone else.

Cara is my preferred spelling. Kara/ Cara is warm and friendly, it's cute, youthful. Like you, I find it slightly insubstantial. Then again, I feel that way about most short names.
I think it's okay for someone else, but I really don't like the sound of it at all. I prefer it spelled Kara and pronounced CARE-uh rather than KAHR-uh.
I don't think it's insubstantial in the slightest.

I like it. It's pretty enough, but like you I don't think it seems substantial enough. I don't know why. I definitely prefer it spelled Cara though, much prettier.
I like it well enough, but like you I'm not in love with it. There's not very much to it. I prefer Kara.
