Didn't Beavis and Butthead used to call Daria "diarrhea"? This kind of ruins this name for me. Otherwise, I'd like it.

I think of the tv show straight away and I never even used to watch it! I still like the name though.

I'll be honest I love this name. I think of a super model with this name. I don't remember her last name. While I also think of the MTV show I don't think it is a bad association.

...not that it's an inherently bad thing. Daria's a pretty cool character to be named after. I think names with a retro/funky/quirky feel, with maybe a tinge of eastern European sound to them would work well with it.

I also think of the cartoon. How about a sibling named Quinn? That could go male or female.

Which really isn't a bad thing - she was cool - but I think the image is around for a lot of people still. I could be wrong. Anyway, it is a very nice name. Elegant and feminine but not annoyingly so.
