Full name for Nessa?
I really like the nn Nessa, but don't really like it on its own, since it seems incomplete. It'd help if you could be a bit creative, though...

If you're wanting creative, Vanessa is probably not ideal, even though I think it is very pretty.
Linnessa might work--it sounds like a romantic heroine, I think.
Manessa or Monessa, maybe

I think my favorites were Ernestine, Alessandra, and Nerissa. :) Thanks so much everyone!

I like just Nessa..it's a valid name in its own right.

Agnes, maybe?

I think everyone's suggested all the possible full names already, but I'll just say I think Vanessa is the best one.

Nessa is very pretty. I also like Nessie, as in the pet name for the Loch Ness monster. :-) Well, I see the usual suspects have already been suggested (Vanessa, Agnes, Nerissa).Creative, eh? Well, any noun ending in "-ness" would work. Happiness is the only one I can think of off the top of my head, but there must be scores more. Other ideas:Innisfree ("IN-ish-free")(If you're a William Butler Yeats fan)
Prudence
Hortensia
Clemence
Nan ESther (N + Es)
Jessamine
Glynis
NerysOK, so some of these are reeeeaaaally stretching it. but happy hunting and be sure to let us know if you settle on something. Thanks for a fun challenge.

Anneliese nn Nessa is a good idea. Thank you!

Apart from more obvious alternatives, I might be open to buying it on Esther or Estera (if I didn't dislike Esther so much), Estefania, Natasha, Alessandra, or Anastasia, Anastacia, Anastasie, etc. It's a tough one; the Nes- and -nes aren't incredibly common. But I like Nell for Eleanor, as an example, so I don't think the sounds of a nickname need to be exclusively taken from the full name itself.

Vanessa is the first thing that comes to mind. But if you want to be creative, you could go with Jenessa, a name I've only heard on one person my entire life.
