Jessica
WDYT of Jessica? I know soo many people find it dated but I think it's really pretty & tbh, it's not that common in my area.

Jessica is extremely popular, but...It is pretty. I would just stay away from Jessica Nicole. That's such an overused and popular combo. Something like Jessica Robin would be pretty.

Lovely name, but really too dated to be used nowadays.

Jessica is pretty and sophisticated, though it's a bit 80s for me. If you're worried about other people thinking it's dated, have you considered using Jessamine, Jessa, or Jesca (I believe this was the Latin name Jessica came from)? On second thought, maybe you shouldn't use Jesca. It sounds too much like like a kre8tyv version of Jessica. Oh well, I'll leave that option up there anyway.

Love Jessamine :)

I think it's lovely, and if you used it, she'd apt to be the only Jessica in a room full of Emmas and Mckennas.

Jessica is a pretty name. When I was growing up there were a lot of them, but I don't hear the name that much anymore. Its kind of like Heather, a name I absolutely love: popular twenty years ago, but not so much in favor these days. I don't let it bother me, though; I like what I like.

It is really pretty, and I've only met a couple, but I've never met one I liked. That's my problem - I can't get past the association with bossy lifeguards with whistles hanging out of their mouths. I did used to love it a lot, though... until I met some.

I've always loved the name, whether it's common or not. I think it's very pretty.

I've always liked it. The reason I wouldn't have used it was exactly as you say, it was very popular and now it's dated. But I did have an acquaintance who named her daughter Jessica, and that was only about seven years ago.If you like it, and it's not common where you live, I see no reason you shouldn't use it.

Yes, the oldest Jessica I know is only about 18. The rest are all aged about 10-newborn. I'm suprised it never properly catched on in England.

I hate it, it makes me sick.. There are even some little Jessicas in my country, find it awful...
