...There's loads and loads of French first names that I really love, but the thing is: I hate most of them when pronounced in English or when English-speaking people try to pronounce them the right way - which doesn't work most of the time. And even if they do - if they give their child a French name THEY can pronounce, most of the people around them won't be able to do it.
So, I LOVE many French names, but only if pronounced truly French and not semi-French or American-French or whatever.
