Normally I really dislike K names, and this name just looks trendy to me. It looks made up, like a feminine form of Kyle, and similar to Kylie or Kayla (both of which I dislike). But maybe because it rhymes with Isla, my favorite girl name, I kind of like it. :)

Hmm, I tend to dislike names that are blatantly a male name with an
-a stuck on the end, and this is no exception. Plus I find it similar to Kylie, Kayla etc which I think are trashy
(I also have a bad association with this name so that may go some way to explaining why I dislike it!)

I LOVE the name Kyla. I think it's very cute and ages very well. I've liked it for quite a while, and it's still on my list of favorites. Very nice name imo! (BTW: I really like the combo Kyla Juliet)

I think it's cute! My friend's youngest sister is named Kylah, Kielah, well, I'm not quite sure how they spell it. I think it is the same name.

I find it trendy and somewhat made-up sounding (even though it isn't), because of the whole Kylie / Kylee / Kyleigh trend. I also don't see it aging well, or at least going past the teen-age age.I'd only consider it if I was honoring a male named Kyle within my family, and then only as a middle name.

I like KylaIt sounds modern, a female form of Kyle. Generally I prefer old-fashioned names but Kyla is nice."You sought a flower and found a fruit. You sought a spring and found a sea. You sought a woman and found a soul. You are disappointed."
