I want to like Damaris (accent on second syllable), however, it only reminds me of demerits. I love the way it looks, though.

I say dah-MAR-is more often, but sometimes dah-MAIR-is depending on what it's paired with.

It's not one of my favorites despite frequent flirtations with it, for this very reason, the thorny pronunciation question. I feel odd preferring the wrong pronunciation.

I've never heard it pronounced nor had cause to say it, but my first instinct was DAM-ahr-iss.

I've always said duh-MAHR-iss.

I love Damaris! I've always pronounced it dah-MAR-iss. DAM-ahr-iss sounds odd to me.
