In theory, I like it a lot. In practice, it's totally unusable. It would forever be misspelled and mispronounced, and a Katalin would forever need to explain that no, her name is not Catalina, Katherine, Kaitlin, or Katarina, and yes, she is quite sure, and no, it's spelled K-A-T-A-L-I-N.

I would spell it Katlynn. Katalin looks ugly and weird...

What is it? A tribute to the Catalan region of Spain or a twisty form of Caitlin? As a Caitlin, and an appreciator of classic Irish names... please don't use it.(love Killian though)

No.I can't stand the idea of people getting kree8iv with name spellings, and I really, really dislike this. Caitlin is so much better. Catalina is even better, since it's so underused. Katalin looks very tryndeigh.sorry to be harsh!

Katalin isn't tryndeeIt's perfectly legit.KATALIN
Gender: Feminine Usage: Hungarian, Basque

Hungarian and Basque form of KATHERINE However, if you meant that it just looks really kre8tiv, then I'd have to agree.
