I prefer Lillian. I know a couple of Autumns and I don't actually know any Lillians. It's a bit of stretch, but if you absolutely need a nn for Autumn you could maybe get away with Ann. There are always nicknames that don't come from the name too. My dad calls me Mo because my hair stood up like a mohawk when I was a baby.
