I'm late on this - but just wanted to add - I love and adore Luka on a girl.
I've done some research on this name - and even though it is now generally considered male - there are references to female Luka's since the 15th century - (from memory) - in Russia - and it's been used as a female name across a number of European countries - in different epochs of time. Even the American ancestry site has female Luka's recorded from the 1800s - and unrelatedly - it is also the Hawaiian form of Ruth. On that basis - I consider it legitimately femme - and totally gorgeous :)
