I don't care for the name, partly because it's overdone, but not only that, I don't like it anyway. BUT if it's to honor family members, I would still use it, even if I didn't like it, as a middle name. I think the middle name slot is perfect for a name you don't particularly like but want to use to honor someone. I gave my daughter a middle name I didn't like to honor my mother and grandmother.

I realize that you didn't say you didn't like Michael, but if you do like it, that's all the more reason to use it, even as a first name.
