Pronunciation & Spelling Questions
Do you pronounce Fionn as FYOON or FIN?Do you pronounce Zoticus as ZOE-ti-cus or ZAH-ti-cus or other?Do you prefer the spelling Llyr or Lir (pronounced LEER)? Right now, my husband and I prefer Llyr.Any thoughts on the above names?

I pronounce Fionn as "fin." Great name.I've never seen or heard of Zoticus before. But I would guess, "ZOE-ti-cus." Interesting name. More information, please.I prefer Llyr. I really like this, but it's not very practical. (This from a woman who would name her American dd Niamh or Aoife, so take with grain of salt.)

Fionn is FIN to me.I've never seen Zoticus before, but I would pronounce it ZOE-ti-cus. I really dislike it. It's like Atticus with zits :PI prefer the spelling Llyr. It looks very Welsh, which is great. Lir looks unfinished.
