Coldplay drummer welcomes twins. WDYT?
Will Champion, drummer for the band Coldplay, and his wife Marianne welcomed g/b twins earlier this month. Their names are:
Juno and Rex
They join big sister Ava who is 2.
WDYT? I dislike both names, especially Rex - I just think of T-Rex. Ava is nice but very popular. As a sibset - I think it is very mismatched.

I think its a neat twin combo.
To me, its very sweet that they wanted to give their kids "royal names", kinda their own version of King and Queen, which combined with the surname Champion is fun to me.
The Rex I know is my Apt Mgr and hes the greatest, so no dog associations for me, and Juno will always be more of a myth name than a movie.

I do not care much for Juno. I would rather have seen June. That would have been retro-cute.
I love Rex. It is my grandsons middle name. When I posted about his name several months ago, several people said that they thought of Rex as a dogs name. I replied that my daughter and son-in-law are aware of the image that Rex has as a dogs name for a great many people, but they think that Rex is too nice a name to be hijacked by the dogs of the world.
I feel this way also. If more people would ignore the dog connotation, and go ahead and use the name anyway, then it would lose that image. It is a great name.
So I say kudos to Will Champion and Marianne for using it.
(Apostrophe key trouble again.)

Sibset rather mismatched. Juno is cute, Rex is OK-ish.
I really love both, but would probably only consider using Juno (I just can't shake the image of a dog when I hear Rex, no matter how much I may like the name). They might be a bit too much though, imo, as a twin set.
Ava is nice, but very trendy (a Hollywood glamour type of trendy though, which I guess is the best kind).

Ava is okay, but very Hollywood-trendy. Rex and Juno together sound like animals in a zoo, like a pair of zebras or something. lol You're right, they don't seem to go with Ava at all.
I'm quite fond of Juno.
I really like both--especially Rex, as it wasn't featured as the title of a not-very-funny indie flick recently.
