I know a Romeo and he doesnt get teased, he never has. His name suits him beautifully. He is intelligent, well mannered and he is good looking too!
Romeo is definently usable.

I really love Romeo, both ROH-mee-oh and Ro-MAY-o. I can definitely see major teasing potential, but I'm usually not one to let that stop me. Romeo Santiago, maybe?

Im not really a fan but I think its usable.

It's a lovely name in itself but the kid'll get teased - the association is with either a girly nerd (not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just that it's prime bully material) or a bit of a "player", which is not something he'll want to be associated with when applying for jobs later in life.

I really like it. Even though it has the associate with "Romeo & Juliet" that doesn't mean it's bad thing, in fact I quite like that association. It has an exceptionally handsome sound to it also.

I like it, but I prefer it in the middle name spot, personally. If I were to use it as a first name, I'd pair it with classics like James, John, or William.

I don't think it's usable as a first name. Shakespeare ruined it for you. A kid named Romeo would definitely be teased about it. In fact I myself have teased a Romeo (but it was a player on the other college's basketball team when I was in pep band, and the whole pep band was doing it because that's what we do). :)

I think Romeo is a really nice name. I do wonder whether a child named Romeo would get teased at school or not though. I think there are so many different names these days that a Romeo wouldn't seem to out of place. I like:
