Murchadh?
How do you pronounce this? I cant imagine it would be anything but mer-cad. If so then I kinda like it. WDYT of it?

I believe it's MUR-a-kha. At least that's how I say it. :)

I'm not exactly sure how to pronounce the whole name. But I can say that usually the "h" before a "d" silences the "d." Example: Tadhg = "tie + g"

I think, correct me if I'm wrong, it would be pronounced MUR-a-kha. The ch in all Gaelic names is pronounced as in the Scottish Loch. If you can't pronounce kh, the nearest would probably be MUR-a-ha, rather than a hard k sound.
