HelpRe: What do you think of when you hear the name Veronica?

It reminds me of Veruca Salt from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, just coz of the similarity in sounds. I strongly suspect that it's this character that put me off most v- names. Veronica is therefore a spoilt, bratty girl.
Secondarily, it reminds me of the show Veronica's Closet which was on quite a while ago now. I really liked the name at the time, because of the show, and it would always be my name in whatever game my friends and I were playing. My nickname was always Ronnie, which I think was the same as the TV character.

I love the sound of Veruca....
and if it were not for the fact that it means warts, I would consider using it.
