Electra/Elektra
wdyt of Electra (or Elektra)? Is it usuable, or too close to electric?

It is very Greek! Nice, but I wouldn´t use it.
I love Electra, and it's usuable to me only because it's a family name (which I think is awesome, by the way :))
It is very electric! I think you'd need a certian personality to carry it off. The only Electras I can think of are the comic book superhero and the Bond girl/villain.
It could be usable as a mn.

I think Elektra (I prefer this spelling) is just so indescribably cool. I'd use it in a jiffy if my future husband wouldn't think I was crazed (which I know he will). But I do think it's usable if you've got the guts!
I think of the movie/comic first but despite that, firmly believe Electra is usable. I think it would be awesome on the right girl. Elektra doesn't charm me as much, I *do* prefer the Latinate version of Greek names, but that's just me. I wouldn't hate Elektra, just not use it myself.
I think of Carmen Electra or that one movie.
I love Elektra. I think it is usable. I'm not fond of the Latinized spellings of Greek names like Electra.
I think of Carmen Electra
And I dislike it. Sounds like a bad B budget movie actress name, or worse, a stripper name.

Ditto
spell it with a k and it is alright but I can't help but think of the movie/comic book
