I like both names and I think either one works for a fn. At the moment I'm prefering Louisa, so today I'd go with that instead!

I prefer Louise or Elouise as a mn. I like Louiza as a fn.

I think Louise is more a middle name. I don't think it sounds so great as a first name.

Nope No way Louisa.. Lousie is Nice especially if followed with a nice nckname.

I don't think Louise is too plain, but I like it more as a middle name because it's feminine but not frilly.

Louise sounds much better than Louisa.I prefer it as a middle name but Louise as a first name would be a rather refreshing change.

Louise is a much nicer name than Louisa, imo!!!!
