Out of the two, I definitely prefer Saxonia. I think Saxy or Nona would be a cute nickname. ;)

Not sure- I like names with x in them, and the -ona ending, but it's a bit...strong. (He or She'd better be good with a sword!)

I like Saxon for a boy.
Sax as a nn can work for either gender. The kid might get called Saxophone or Sex though.
