Thomas.
Suddenly Thomas has jumped to the top of my list. I really like it, especially with the nickname Tommy (which I know isn't going to be popular here.) I've also suddenly fallen in love with the nn Billy. Wdyt of Thomas Evren and William Allan, nn Tommy and Billy? Too yawn-inducing? Neither are that used of late.
Also: Liron or Lev for a boy? Both are my favorites but I especially love Liron's meaning. Opinions?
Thanks!

I like Thomas a lot. Tommy makes me snore and reminds me of an irritatingly mischevious boy whose parents have indulged him way too much. Thomas Evren is very nice. William Allan is also great, though I hate Billy. It's hickish and old where I am.
I much prefer Liron. Lev just sort of sounds like a syllable to me.

I don't think they're yawn-inducing; I like them quite a lot. I've always liked Bill(y). William Allen I think has a few too many repetitive sounds, though. They both have a double l, and the 'am' and 'en' nearly rhyme.
I prefer Liron to Lev, because it feels more complete. Lev seems like it's missing something, or should be a nickname for something.

I love Tommy, I know adorable 2 year old twins named Kathleen and Thomas who are often called Katie and Tommy.
I really like Thomas Evren-- very handsome. William Allan I'm not to found of, I find the 'l's repetitive. I'm not a huge fan of either name though, and I went t school with brothers Allen and William who were the most obnoxious people ever, so that probably doesn't help. I'm also definitly not a Billy fan-- just reminds me of a goat.

Thomas and William are nice names need a long rest. I don't if they've fallen out of use for longer in the US, but in the years I was in England I met countless Tom 's and Will 's in their 20s. And I don't find Tommy and Billy attractive, they're either childish or somewhat rednecky.
I like Lev very much, Liron is interesting and does have a great meaning but I'm bugged by the -on ending for some reason.

I think Thomas, nn Tommy is cute. I like it a lot. William, nn Billy is also great. They'd make a nice sib set imo. Not a fan of the mn's though. I'd prefer
Thomas Jonah
Thomas Nathaniel
Thomas Henry
William Oscar
William Elijah
William Asher
I don't mind Liron as a mn, but I'm not keen on it as a fn. Lev is really nice though and would work as a fn or a mn.

I love Thomas. I like Tommy but hate Tom. (This is a pattern with me. I hate Nick, love Nicky; hate Rob, love Robbie. I can't say I like Billy but I like it much better than Bill.)
I do think that Tommy and Billy together are dull. I'd only use Thomas as a middle name because it's so overused. I'd be pleased to see a child going by Tommy, anyway. Here it is nearly always Tam, at least from teenage years up.
ETA - Thomas Charles is a handsome combo. I kind of like that both names end in S, though I'd never have thought to put them together.

I love the names Thomas and William, and I think they'd make a great sibset. Tommy is cute as a nn, at least for a child. I've always hated Billy, though. Will is my favorite William nn, and Liam is nice, too.
As for combos, I like the flow of William Allan. Evren is a bit jarring to me personally, though I do like the meaning.
Finally, I like both Liron and Lev; it'd be a tough choice between them. Lev does sound a bit more like a nn, though, for what it's worth.

It's a bit 'yawny' for me. I find Will or Liam a million times better than the overdone Billy. Tommy is cute though... it's still a little played out but a lot more fun than just Tom. Using Evren with Thomas gives it more of an edge but using Allan with William doesn't make it anything special IMO. I think if it was paired with something a little more interesting then I would totally dig it.
I like Thomas, just generally, but I don't like Tommy and loathe Billy.
As for combos, I like the sound of Thomas Evren, although I'm not entirely sold on Evren. What do you think about Thom for a nickname instead? For some reason, I like it much more than Tommy. I think this one isn't too yawn inducing at all.
I like William Allan, which has been one of my combos for a long time. I like nickname Liam best. I prefer Bill to Billy, but I still am not fond of it. I much prefer Will/Wills/Liam as a nickname. This one could be a little yawn inducing, I suppose, which might be why I want to jazz it up with Liam, but I really like it. It's got a solidity to it, and a more classic sound that is pretty much the style I like.
I like the sound and meaning of Liron more. Lev seems more like a nickname, on my first impression, because it's so short. Lev isn't bad, but I don't love it, either.

One of my bosses at work (Dax) his newphews name is Thomas Charles "Tommy" which is really sweet, its too popular for my tastes but its very handsome! Billy is quite sweet and if William wasn't so popular i'd think about using it.
I like both combo's but I don't know if Tommy and Billy seem a bit rhymey for brothers..
I adore Liron and Lev for boys, both are so handsome, strong and a bit more unusual!

Thomas is nice - it's a clean, strong name that works well for little boys as well as for men. i like the whole name more than any nns, but I do think Tommy is quite cute, mainly because it reminds me of a friend whose nn was Tommy Jean (I have no idea why, her name is Leah). I don't like Billy much, but it's ok, and Tommy and Billy make a cute sibset IMO. I do like William. I'd prefer Thomas Evan to Thomas Evren; Evan is in the same 'category' of names for me, it has the same feel to it. I don't really like Allan, but William Allan flows nicely.
Liron or Lev? Both are really cool actually, although neither is my style. Lev wins though, mainly because of the book 'My Name is Asher Lev', which I really like.

William Allan is nice, though I prefer it spelled Allen.
That's not what she asked.
As usual. @@
Didn't she say, "Wdyt of Thomas Evren and William Alan"?
I don't think there's anything wrong with responding to one question in a post and not others. I've done that myself.

Agreed.
If you're going to yell at someone for doing something wrong, then do it when they're actually doing it. That's just...really, really rude.
