Renata?

I adore Renata. It is one of those names I don't know if I would get around to using, but love to hear out and about. I prefer the full name though.
Bad association for me.
And so I hate it. It's up there with Abigail with me, and I simply cannot stand Abigail.
It's the ultimate snarky I'm-better-than-you-so-stop-trying name to me, thanks to having known this one girl named Renata. I wouldn't have liked the way it sounds before I met her, anyway. But this is all personal, and doesn't really help you much, does it? Sorry :/

I know this is completely ridiculous, but I have strong negative associations with this name because it was the name of the nurse that watched over my grandma two years ago when she was really sick. My grandma lived and got rid of the lung infection she'd had for fifty years, but ended up in worse shape than when she went into the hospital... it was a really hard time for my family. She recently passed away, so I guess I'm still sensitive about the name.
I know that was a tad rambly, but nevertheless, I don't like the name. :(
I really like Reina, though. Do you like that?

Renata is ok, but has a 1970s vibe to me since it was very popular at that time here.

A favorite.
It's a beautiful, classy name with a long history. Just beautiful.

It's gorgeous, more useable than Reine.
It's pretty but it reminds me of a name brand gourmet chocolate. Maybe a little much.
