For a girl? WDYT?I'm not sure if I'm brave enoguh to use it as a fn, but it could work with the right mn I think. Can anyone think of any combos for it?

I hate it, sorry. I love Dylan for a boy, but for a girl I think it's just trendy and far too masculine. If you do use it, I would choose a very girly, but in my opinion even that doesn't balance it out; Dylan Juliet, Dylan Maria etc. just sound wrong to me.

I am not a big fan of the name, and have always thought of it as a masculine name, but in saying that, when you mentioned you were considering it for a girls name, I said it in my head and realised that it could be a very pretty girls name. I agree that it would have to have the right middle name, something frilly and girly would balance the name out I think. Something like Dylan Elizabeth, Dylan Genevieve etc etc

Dylan on a girl is a big GP of mine. No combo's come to mind aside from sort-of filler names, ex.: Dylan Elizabeth, Dylan Kate, Dylan Rose, that are, imo, super-girly, to take away from the masculine Dylan. I don't know if I'm brave enough to use it on a girl, but in my mind I think it would be lovely.

I'm not a huge fan of Dylan but I must say, I do prefer it on a girl. Some combo ideas...Dylan Cadence
Dylan Naomi- my personal favourite
Dylan Julia
Dylan Christina

I think it's strictly a boys' name. I don't think any middle name will make it sound less masculine, in my opinion.
