Lilac?
I'm not sure how well this is going to go over with you guys but... here goes:Lately (as in the last couple of days) I've been liking the sound of Lilac on a girl. I know you guys don't usually take too kindly to names like this (and neither do I really) but it's passed my basic name usability test:1. It's easy to say2. It is legible in my hand writing 3. It's not *too* strange4. It fits with my current fantasy sibset5. I wouldn't mind being name Lilac myselfDon't get me wrong, I'm not asking you to be nice. If you hate it, let me know, that's why I'm asking.Right, With all that in mind, WDYTO Lilac. Any combo suggestions?, any alternative name suggestions? (please don't say Lila, it makes me gag)

Lilac is one of my favorite names, but my family hates it. I guess they just don't see it's sweet yet quirky appeal! Like you, I don't like Lila near as much. It doesn't have the same spunky quality. Unlike you, I worry most about pronunciation problems. It seems people say Lilac many different ways (most commonly Lie-lock or Lie-lack). I myself say Lie-lack. Regardless, it's a very pretty name and hardly used.My combo: Lilac VeronicaOther ideas:
Lilac Isobel
Lilac Josephine
Lilac Matilda
Lilac Audrey
Lilac Beatrice
Lilac Cecilia
Lilac Noelle
Lilac Antonia
Lilac Margaret
Lilac Marisol

Aww, I like Lila. Lilac is nice though. I think it is very underused. Go for it.
