Emmaline?
I like that name a lot…But I prefer Emmeline.
Do you have any suggestions for middle names?
The only person I‘ve hear named Emmaline is Christian Bale’s daughter.

I think it's very pretty. But when my sister was pregnant, and mentioned it as a possibility to her husband, he laughed hysterically and said that it sounded like something you would put into your car to make it run. I guess he thought it sounded similar to gasoline or valvoline. And yes, she was pronouncing it with a long I in the last syllable, but that's still what he thought. Plebian! Oh well, my sister had two boys and no girls, guess it doesn't matter.

Love it either wayI guess I slightly prefer Emmeline, it looks more balanced to me, with Es on either end as well as in the middle. But Emmaline is perfectly fine as well. I prn it EMM-ah-lyn, btw. My pet combo for it is Emmaline Marie (the A in Emmaline reflects the A in Marie, which is a sentimental mn in this particular combo).

=)I prefer the spelling Emmaline. It seems very "colonial American" to me, which is always very soothing to a Virginian.
